Stories i Carry

Narratives that echo beyond the page

Welcome to Stories i Carry

This space is exactly what the name suggests — a collection of stories I’ve gathered along the way. I’ve always believed that life doesn’t arrive in big lessons or perfect timelines. It shows up in small, ordinary moments that somehow leave a mark. A school friendship. A year in a new city. A conversation that changes how you see things. Growing older and realizing you’re still becoming. These are the stories I want to hold space for here.

We live in a world that moves fast — words scroll past, ideas compete for attention, and even our thoughts are hurried along. This space is my small pause in that motion. A place to slow down. To read without rushing. To sit with a thought long enough for it to settle. To remember that some things are felt best when we let time pass through them.

If something here reminds you of your own life, your own people, or your own moments — you’re already part of the story. And if you feel like sharing, I’d love to hear what you carry too.

These moments took my thoughts back 20–25 years, to when we first considered having children, and made me wonder what it really means to become a parent.

It reflects on how friendships shape us, evolve with time, and quietly become one of life’s most powerful anchors.
